Nobody Gets To Wear Couture Right Off The Runway... Except Lady Gaga

Nobody Gets To Wear Couture Right Off The Runway... Except Lady Gaga: The difference between couture and regular runway clothing is that couture is "made to measure," i.e. not mass-produced for stores. If someone likes a couture dress from a fashion show, she can go custom-order it. Otherwise, she won't just find it sitting on a rack in Saks or Neiman Marcus.

But there is one other way of attaining a couture item: Be Lady Gaga. The singer sat front row at her pal Donatella Versace's latest couture show in Paris on Sunday... and by Tuesday, she already owned an entire outfit from the collection.

Vogue UK reports that Gaga borrowed one of Versace's fur outfits with a mesh hood to wear to a post-show dinner on Sunday, after which she "asked (quite politely, we're sure), if she could retain the one-of-a kind item. And Versace allowed her to."

Keep in mind: Typical Versace Couture outfits can cost anywhere between $19,000 and $125,000. But Gaga knows how to pull off the perfect Couture Week shopping trip: Just ask to keep it all for free. Could anyone else make this happen?

11 Amazing Things That Happen When You Don't Wear Makeup

11 Amazing Things That Happen When You Don't Wear Makeup: Everyone is always talking about the terrible things that happen when you don't wear makeup. Yes, glamming up can be a lot of fun, and we'd never tell you to stop playing with new makeup trends.

But the truth is, going makeup-free every once in a while is not the worst thing in the world. In fact, here are 11 reasons it can actually be pretty amazing.

1. Your pores can breathe. A lot of makeup is filled with chemicals that have a negative impact on skin. Leaving it on will clog up your pores, which causes pimples. Giving your face a day off can help clear away those blemishes. Plus, it just feels cleaner.

2. You don't have to take it off at the end of the night. Which we all know is the worst part of putting makeup on in the first place. Is there anything more annoying than relentlessly wiping at your lashes with makeup remover to no avail? No. There is not.

3. You won't need to ask, "Is my makeup smudgy?" -- you know exactly what you look like all day. There is something pretty liberating about not relying on a mirror for a little while.

4. Impromptu pool parties ain't no thang.

5. You avoid the risk of raccoon eyes morning after an... adult sleepover. No need to sneak out to the bathroom to check, either.

6. You can watch "The Notebook" and pretty much any other Nicholas Sparks movie with ease.

7. You can experience that incredible feeling of rubbing your tired eyes (you know the one) without worrying that your eyeliner is all over your face.

8. You have more time to do important things in the morning, like sleep.

9. Less chance of an eye infection. It's unlikely, but possible that bacteria can grow on your eye makeup, which can cause conjunctivitis, the most dreaded of all eye problems.

10. You receive a compliment and realize that you maybe you do look pretty darn good sans makeup after all.

11. Absolutely nothing. Your world is not going to collapse. Everyone is still going to recognize you. And life will go on.

Model Fall At Elie Saab Show Has Us Cringing (PHOTOS)

Model Fall At Elie Saab Show Has Us Cringing (PHOTOS): Want to see 200 fashion editors and bloggers wince in unison? Take a model, put her in sky-high heels and a long gown and set her off on the runway.

Unfortunately, that deadly set-up met its logical conclusion on Wednesday, when a model in the Elie Saab couture show took a spill. Captured on camera (see it at 6:35 here), the spill was unfortunately like so many we've seen before.

Perhaps next Fashion Week, the models can take the advice Jennifer Lawrence so famously misinterpreted at the Oscars and "kick, walk, kick, walk." (On that fateful Oscars night in 2013, Miss Lawrence thought the directions were "cakewalk, cakewalk, cakewalk" -- now we get why she fell.)

See what went down (pun... not intended?) in Paris today.

Jennifer Lawrence Sneaks Up On Taylor Swift At The Golden Globes

Jennifer Lawrence Sneaks Up On Taylor Swift At The Golden Globes: Jennifer Lawrence will make headlines once again after her epic stunt at the Golden Globes on Sunday (Jan. 12).

The "American Hustle" star snuck up on Taylor Swift while she was being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet for E! News. The 23-year-old made a mischievous face as she creeped up the staircase to where Swift was standing.

Once Swift realized Lawrence was behind her, she laughed and gave the fellow nominee a hug.

Sofia Vergara's Golden Globes Dress 2014 Proves She's A Red Carpet Pro (PHOTOS): Whenever Sofia Vergara hits the red carpet, all eyes are on her.

Unsurprisingly, she wowed at the 2014 Golden Globes, turning up in a simple black Zac Posen gown paired with an eye-catching turquoise statement necklace. The star is up for Best Supporting Actress for her role on "Modern Family" yet again, so she's basically a professional red carpet goer at this point.

Taylor Swift's Golden Globes Dress 2014 Carries Her Through An Awkward Moment (PHOTOS): Taylor Swift hit the 2014 Golden Globes red carpet today, stunning in a two-toned Carolina Herrera gown.

What an improvement from last year's raisin-colored number. T. Swift certainly needed every ounce of her glam and poise tonight -- how else do you survive a Jennifer Lawrence red carpet photobomb?

Sandra Bullock's Golden Globes Dress 2014 Was A Little Disappointing (PHOTOS)

Sandra Bullock's Golden Globes Dress 2014 Was A Little Disappointing (PHOTOS): Quietly but confidently, Sandra Bullock has become the most underrated style star of the year. Keeping her hair and makeup simple, Sandra has experimented with bright colors, intricate detailing and sexy, body-skimming silhouettes and hemlines -- and every outfit keeps on making our best-dressed list.

But somehow her Golden Globes dressed missed the mark. The star, nominated for Best Actress for her work in "Gravity," wore a color-blocked Prabal Gurung gown that just wasn't up to snuff (in our opinions, at least). She could've definitely used the belt Gurung paired with the ensemble on the runway.

Jessica Chastain's Golden Globes Dress 2014 Proves She's Still An A-Lister (PHOTOS)

Jessica Chastain's Golden Globes Dress 2014 Proves She's Still An A-Lister (PHOTOS): Nowhere is Jessica Chastain more loved than in the fashion world, where editors bless her with covers, brands pick her for their high-end ads and designers clamor to dress her in couture to complement her eye-catching red hair.

At the 2014 Golden Globes, Chastain stunned in a simple black Givenchy gown -- just the type of understated elegance we've come to expect from the "Zero Dark Thirty" star. This may not have been as momentous as last year in terms of nominations, but Jessica certainly maintained her A-list style status on the Globes red carpet tonight. Seriously, how unreal was that hair?

Well done, Chastain.

Vanessa Hudgens Turns Heads In Revealing Dress At Golden Globes After-Party

Vanessa Hudgens Turns Heads In Revealing Dress At Golden Globes After-Party: Vanessa Hudgens is never one to miss a party, nor an opportunity to turn heads.

For the second year in a row, the former Disney star decided to celebrate at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes after-party on Sunday night (Jan. 12) in an ultra low-cut gown that left little to the imagination.

The 25-year-old, whose new film "Gimme Shelter" hits theaters later this month, demanded attention in a backless metallic dress with a plunging, deep V-neckline, as she partied the night away with boyfriend Austin Butler.

Taylor Swift Wears Sheer Crochet Dress For Golden Globes After-Party

Taylor Swift Wears Sheer Crochet Dress For Golden Globes After-Party: Following the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, Taylor Swift partied the night away in a sheer crochet dress.

Swift paired the Julien MacDonald minidress with Jimmy Choo shoes at the InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Sunday night (Jan. 12), according to Just Jared. The superstar singer attended that bash, as well as The Weinstein Company & Netflix after-party, with her brother, Austin.

She was spotted having a blast, dancing with pals Hailee Steinfeld and Sarah Hyland.

Although the 24-year-old showed some skin after hours, Swift chose a more demure, strapless red and black Carolina Herrera gown for the main event.

Emma Thompson Throwing Her Shoes At The Golden Globes Was The Best Thing Ever

Emma Thompson Throwing Her Shoes At The Golden Globes Was The Best Thing Ever: Emma Thompson continued her campaign against the cruelty of high heels at last night's Golden Globes, arriving onstage barefoot like a wonderful comfort-loving goddess.

"I just want you to know, this red, it's my blood," she said as she presented the award for Best Screenplay holding both her Christian Louboutin red-soled heels and a martini. Those might just be the last free pair Louboutin sends her, but somehow we doubt she minds.

For what it's worth, those things looked painful. It's no wonder they didn't make it past the red carpet.

Emma Thompson

This isn't Emma's first time at the heel-bashing rodeo, either. Just last week, she picked up a Best Actress award at the National Board of Review awards gala sans shoes. "I've taken my heels off as a feminist statement really, because why do we wear them? They're so painful. And pointless, really," she said. "You know, I really would like to urge everyone to stop it. Just stop it. Don’t wear them anymore. You just can't walk in them, and I’m so comfortable now."

Never change, Emma. Never change.

The 13 Worst Things About Having Bangs

The 13 Worst Things About Having Bangs: Bangs can be an amazing way to change up your look. They can also be a royal pain in the you-know-what. Here are just some of the most annoying things about the beloved/dreaded forehead adornments.

1. Never being able to see.

angry (1835) Animated Gif on Giphy

Quite possibly the most frustrating feeling ever.

2. The constant feeling that something is tickling your eyelids.

There's a reason Biebs started doing that famous hair flip.

3. They constantly feel out of place, forcing you to touch them all the time, which leads to the bangs getting greasy... while the rest of your head is dry.

You wanted to shower twice today, right?

4. The pieces of hair that stick out of your headband when you're growing them out.

moral: never give anyone headbands

UGH.

5. Summer.

motley crue (42) Animated Gif on Giphy

Two minutes outside and people start thinking you're the forgotten member of Motley Crue.

6. They make you look younger.

You weren't quite looking for people to start telling you how "cute" you look.

7. Never being able to get them as straight as you'd like.

This one's for the curly haired girls, who no matter how hard they try, they just can't SHAKE THAT RIDGE.

8. The overwhelming desire you have to give them a trim yourself...
lol (4546) Animated Gif on Giphy

9. ...and the consequential walk of shame back to the hairdresser to have them salvaged.

10. Putting on any kind of eye makeup.

Doing anything involving your face, actually.

11. When they get piecey.

It's like some sort of magnetic force is keeping them away from each other.

12. The fact that you're never able to just roll out of bed in the morning and go.

13. How badly you want them back once they're gone.

These Are The Dresses The Stars Should Have Worn To The 2014 Golden Globes (PHOTOS)

These Are The Dresses The Stars Should Have Worn To The 2014 Golden Globes (PHOTOS): This year, the 2014 Golden Globes saw some pretty amazing fashion. There were breathtaking dresses, gorgeous hair and makeup and killer accessories.

But it wasn't all good. In fact, many stars struggled on the red carpet in looks that were neither flattering nor visually appealing. The stars who made the worst-dressed list were all so beautiful, it's a shame their stylists put them in looks so atrocious. Had we gotten our hands on them, they would have looked much better (trust us).

Behold, the dresses the stars should have worn to the Golden Globes last night. (For the love of god, call us next year, Paula Patton.)
